Tyler Henderson

Partner

Tyler Henderson has been prosecuting fraud claims, carrying out complex asset recovery efforts, and litigating business disputes since the start of his legal career. Nearly 15 years later, those remain the core of his practice. He routinely assists individuals, businesses, and other attorneys with a wide range of creditors’ rights issues, including voidable and fraudulent transfer litigation, asset protection schemes, successor liability cases, and stopping the use of shell companies to hinder debt collection.

A native of Dalton, Georgia, Tyler graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with honors before staying put in Athens to attend the University of Georgia School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2011. If litigation is involved, he handles all aspects of each case in Georgia’s state and federal courts and has argued numerous cases before the Georgia Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

“If your non-lawyer client can’t understand what you’ve written, you’ve done a bad job.”

Recognizing that no two problems call for the same approach, Tyler works closely with his clients to develop strategies and find unique fee structures to fit the client’s goals and circumstances. He credits his professional success to scores of current and former clients who embraced his open-minded and common-sense approach to the practice of law.

Outside of work, Tyler is a proud and deeply involved father, husband, and member of his community. He’s an active participant in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, his church, and a supporter of the Georgia Conservancy. Tyler is also a mediocre golfer and, prior to the arrival of his energetic four-year-old, enjoyed attending concerts and ski trips—activities he hopes to return to soon.
