E. Wylly Killorin, III

Associate

Wylly Killorin is a tree farmer, sportsman, and lawyer. As a ninth-generation Georgian, Wylly feels a deep connection to the State’s land and its people. An avid reader of history, he believes understanding the past is the key to both understanding people’s behavior and anticipating future outcomes.

Wylly believes any day spent outdoors is a good day. He and his wife enjoy training and testing their two bird dogs and traveling the country to experience their natural instincts. Wylly’s favorite weekends are those spent at his family’s farm where he intends to continue his grandfather’s foolhardy obsession to revive the native quail population. A self-proclaimed 14 handicap, Wylly has not kept a scorecard for over five years.

“‘Do the duty that lies nearest thee,’ which thou knowest to be a Duty! Thy second Duty will already have become clearer.” – Thomas Carlyle

Wylly believes personal connections are the most important aspects of being an effective counselor and advocate. He has focused his career on litigation, following the four generations of Georgia lawyers to come before him. His expertise includes complex tort defense, insurance coverage disputes, complex business disputes, bankruptcy, and creditor asset recovery. Wylly’s litigation experience ranges from cases involving four figures to ten. He believes clear, consistent communication is the most important part of representation.

A native of Atlanta, Wylly attended The Westminster Schools prior to his family’s relocation to Columbus, Georgia. He graduated early from the University of Mississippi’s Trent Lott Leadership Institute, summa cum laude, majoring in Public Policy Leadership with a focus on food and agricultural policy. He enjoys spending time with his growing family and following his Ole Miss Rebel’s baseball team as they march towards Omaha.
