Can Speak to You About
Ashley Futrell Hinkson advises employers on workplace law, risk management, and compliance. She counsels business leaders on sensitive issues ranging from workplace investigations and wage and hour compliance to discrimination, harassment, and employee relations. Drawing on her background as a federal prosecutor, big-firm litigator, and advisor to both small and midsize companies, Ashley provides clients with a unique perspective on preventing disputes and managing reputational risk.
Ashley has represented clients in high-stakes litigation, investigations, and class actions in both federal and state courts. She previously practiced at an international law firm, where she defended global clients in government investigations, white-collar matters, and complex litigation. She has also worked in smaller firm settings, giving her a broad appreciation of the challenges employers face at every stage of growth. Ashley also served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of Ohio and as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she gained significant trial and appellate experience.
Outside of work, Ashley is actively engaged in professional and civic life. She volunteers with The Links, Incorporated, the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, GA, the American University Atlanta Alumni Chapter, and the Flat Rock Middle School Mock Trial Team. She also continues to mentor students and young professionals pursuing careers in law and public service.
