Partner

A labor and employment lawyer and former senior human resources leader, Gabrielle (Gabi) Moses has built a diverse career with a plethora of experiences. Graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, Gabi went on to get her J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. After earning her degrees, she clerked for two federal judges and then jump started her career as a commercial litigator at Thompson Hine LLP and Venable LLP. She later joined what is now called Muskat, Mahony & Devine, LLP, a labor and employment boutique in Houston, and became a named partner.

“I understand the challenges facing companies trying to navigate the changing landscape of employment laws and regulations and addressing employee issues because I was in your seat. Advice from an experienced labor and employment lawyer is critical to mitigate your risk.

With her vast experience in the field and a successful career, she then went on to become the Vice President of HR and Associate General Counsel at Prime Communications, AT&T’s largest authorized retailer. At Prime, Gabi was responsible for both the legal and HR functions during a time of massive growth. As Prime tripled in size to 8,000 employees working in 2,000 retail stores across almost 50 states, she served as a trusted advisor and collaborated with business leaders nationwide to provide solution-focused strategy on employment litigation, complex employee investigations, multi-state regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, employee engagement, and COVID-19 pandemic response. Thanks to her years of in-house corporate experience, Gabi has a clear understanding of decision making in the context of running a business. As a member of the Stanton Law family, Gabi now dedicates herself to continuing her professional growth in her practice and applies her expertise to a host of diverse clients who seek her advice in the boardroom and value her skills in the courtroom.

On top of being a Partner at Stanton Law, Gabi is also a wife and mom to three teenagers, including one in college. When she isn’t helping her clients, you can catch Gabi and her husband cheering on their teenagers in their respective school activities, exploring their new area of town, and renewing their love of travel.
