Quinton Johnson

Partner

Quinton specializes in representing entrepreneurs and small businesses in establishing and growing their operations. He brings Stanton Law clients an expertise that encompasses the entire business lifecycle, from providing counsel on initial business planning, entity formation, and structuring business relationships to drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on sales, mergers, and acquisitions to resolving contract disputes and dissolutions.

“Learning about your business and how I can help it thrive is my favorite part of the process. While businesses vary in size and complexity, each deserves counsel that seeks to help you recognize your specific needs and how to address them efficiently as you grow.”

Quinton Johnson has focused on corporate transactions and business law since graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law in 2010. He began his career as a corporate associate at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he represented investment banks, international companies, and private investment firms, to name a few. His work included capital markets and securities transactions, private and public mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance, and corporate dissolutions. When Quinton returned home to Georgia he shifted his client focus toward “Main Street.” Opening a solo practice ultimately brought him to Stanton Law, where he found he could collaborate with like-minded attorneys who seek to provide the most value for their clients.

A native Georgian, Quinton graduated cum laude from The University of Georgia in 2005 with a BA in Political Science. At University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, he served as President and Treasurer of the Law Students of African Descent and Productions Editor for the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy. While reserved at first, Quinton’s sarcastic humor oozes out once you get to know him. He enjoys listening to an eclectic array of music, training for general physical preparedness, and hand brewing coffee.
