Josh is a passionate employment and business lawyer who provides pragmatic, business-minded solutions to the full range of business-related legal issues facing small to midsize businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs. Josh’s goal is to alleviate his clients’ legal concerns so they can focus on their business. He discusses these topics and other issues faced by entrepreneurs, business owners and employers alongside rotating colleagues, partners and experts as the host of the weekly Been There, Do This Podcast.
Josh came to Stanton Law with experience in employment litigation, disputes, and counseling at mid-size and large law firms in Atlanta. Josh graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as Legislation Editor for the Georgia State Law Review and interned for Chief Justice Hugh P. Thompson of the Supreme Court of Georgia. After law school, Josh served as a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Born and raised in Atlanta, he also lived nearly a decade in Israel, where he obtained his undergraduate degree and rabbinic ordination. He is proficient in Hebrew and has worked extensively with Israeli-based startups and other companies.
Josh represents and counsels employers in a wide range of matters, including restrictive covenants, discrimination, wage and hour, OSHA, and FMLA, among others. In addition, Josh has developed a niche specialty in ADA Title III accommodation, including online and website accessibility issues.
Outside of work, Josh is a proud father of five children and is passionate about family, personal growth, community service, and leadership. Josh currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Torah Day School of Atlanta, including chairing their legal advisory committee and has held various Board of Trustees roles at Congregation Beth Jacob. He also volunteers his time with a number of other non-profit organizations. He is an avid cyclist and can often be found cycling through the streets and trails around Atlanta.
